Class 5b said goodbye to Miss Lane this week, as she goes on maternity leave. The class and parents are so excited for her to start her journey as a mum, but also sad to lose her as their teacher after five wonderful years with them! As a thank you for her time with the class, the children presented Miss Lane with a baby blanket made up of squares created by each student and also a 'mum to be' hamper for her to enjoy over the coming months. 

The class had a celebration on the last day and each wrote a poem about their time together as a class, which were made into a booklet for each child to take home.
