Class 7b went to the Outward-Bound centre at Ullswater lake in the Lake District two weeks ago. The class was split into two groups and undertook a series of different challenges and tasks that pushed them into new territories around team building, cooperation and communication skills. They took part in activities which included: abseiling, gorge walking, raft building, canoeing, hiking, camping in bivvies, jumping into the lake from a height, jog and dip in the lake etc. All the pupils and the teachers had a very enjoyable and tiring week.
