Michael Hall School sits in Kidbrooke Park, nestled within landscaped parkland and woodland adjoining the Ashdown Forest. We have a variety of beautiful spaces on campus available for external hire, which are suitable for events ranging from weddings, festivals and retreats, dance shows and plays, to sports clubs, artistic workshops, meetings and family gatherings.

Please get in touch by completing the below enquiry form and we will be in touch to recommend the most appropriate space for your event.

Theatre

A 400 capacity fully functional theatre, with tiered seated, lighting, tech support and dedicated green rooms. Ideal for putting on dance shows, musicals, plays, classical concerts and variety shows. Additional spaces are available close by for changing and refreshment provision.

Gym

Our fully equipped modern gym can not only be hired by sports clubs to train and compete, it also proves popular with casual users practicing gymnastics and martial arts. Due to the size of the space available we also host local wellbeing and dance events here.

Kidbrooke Mansion

A Grade II listed building created from local sandstone and based on the design of buildings from classical Rome. There are many beautiful spaces to hire within and around the Mansion, including the Long Room - an elegant ballroom, opening onto an extensive, historic terrace. As well as being fully licensed for wedding ceremonies, the Mansion is the perfect venue for your entire wedding celebration, and its eclectic mix of rooms and beautiful, versatile grounds are also ideal for concerts, large meetings, and family events.

Studios

Our two dedicated studios are not only used by our Eurythmy movement teachers, they also host choral, orchestral and theatrical rehearsals throughout the school day. In the evenings and weekends they are superb smaller venues where you can host similar events and workshops. Both studios have excellent acoustics and classical pianos.
