Finley from Class 8, has built his own coracle as part of his class 8 project and he travelled hours to Camarthen to sail it in the Afon Tywi.

It took Finley two months to build the coracle after some reading and research and six months altogether to complete all aspects of the project work. He contacted the Camarthen Coracle Association last year to ask for guidance with his school project.

Building a coracle is a very old tradition originating from Wales and Ireland which is now almost lost.
