In our second animal block, we explored how various animals specialise in their native habitats. As a piece of this work, the students were asked to write an animal report in class and to build a diorama of their animal in its habitat at home. The reports aim was to teach research skills using books, and how to project plan and problem solve. Here are their dioramas:
