Our Middle School Orchestra is formed of pupils in Classes 6, 7 and 8 who are currently learning an instrument. This is the only lesson in the Middle School where we manage to bring together pupils from different year groups. The Orchestra meets for a lesson each week and it's powerful. We always perform at the Advent Festival of Music and last week gave an end-of-year concert to pupils from Classes 1, 4, 6, 7 and 8. The programme consisted of Latin American numbers and a medley of themes from Pirates of the Caribbean.

In September we are bringing Brass Instrumental lessons back to Michael Hall, so we are looking forward to adding a brass section to our ensembles.
