Congratulations to Class 7SN for their first play in the Theatre this week!

The Sacred flame is a play based on a story by Selma Lagerloef. The hero Raniero di Ranieri is a man in need of reform. He lives in Florence in the Middle Ages and loses his love Francesca because of his reckless behaviour. Raniero then leaves Florence and joins the first Crusade. He lights a candle at Jesus' tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and decides that he will bring this very light back to Florence. Raniero then embarks on a transformative journey with many adventures. Will he manage to bring the light from The Church of the Holy Sepulchre to Florence? Will he see Francesca ever again?
