Market Garden Main Lesson

Class 9

Class 9 spent two weeks outside for a continuation of the FOOD Main Lesson – this instalment was the beginning of the new season with sowing, preparing beds, planting, some harvesting and packing. They experienced the complete cycle of production, from laying black plastic to create a new 50m growing strip, planting out hundreds of lettuces, to creating an outdoor seating area and cooking on the newly completed cob oven some of them started in the Autumn – though the woodfired cooking needs a bit more practice…… 😁
